Dr. Isabelle Chenail

Dr. Isabelle Chenail is a Chilliwack Dentist who works with families and individuals looking for quality dental treatment and care.

She received her doctorate in Medical Dentistry in 1992 from the University of Montreal and served for 9 years as a dental officer in the Canadian Army. She believes in keeping up-to-date with new technology and she prides herself on her dental knowledge. The team supporting Dr. Chenail is very capable and experienced and they will strive to ensure that your visit is a comfortable and satisfying one.

Dr. Chenail is delighted to be working with her daughter, Dr. Bates who joined the practice as her associate.

In her free time, Dr. Chenail likes to spend time with her family and enjoys hiking, cycling and gardening.

Dr. Roxanne Bates

Dr. Bates is excited to join the Dental practice established by her mother, Dr. Isabelle Chenail, and to continue to provide compassionate, patient-focused care alongside her. She graduated with Honours from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2025, earning a place on the Dean’s list. She is dedicated to providing attentive, evidence-based care and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported at every visit.

Outside the office, Dr. Bates enjoys cooking, hiking, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family. She looks forward to serving the community and being a part of a practice that truly feels like home.

Jocelyn

Jocelyn is a skilled Dental Hygienist with over 20 years of experience in the dental field, continually staying up to date with the latest dental technologies. She is dedicated to providing every patient with a comfortable, positive experience while helping them achieve optimal oral health.

She received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the Toronto College of Dental Hygiene and has worked alongside Dr. Chenail for the past 18 years. With her gentle, caring, and sincere demeanor, Jocelyn is committed to making every dental hygiene appointment a great one.

Outside of the clinic, Jocelyn loves gardening and staying active with her family, which includes her husband and their two young sons.

Annette

With over 30 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Annette is committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care with a focus on prevention, comfort, and long-term oral health.

She received her Diploma in Dental Hygiene at Algonquin College in Ottawa in 1993.

In her spare time, she appreciates our beautiful BC mountains with hiking and staying active with fitness classes and travelling, while pursuing a more creative outlet with watercolor painting. She relishes good books and enjoys spending time with her pets.

Michelle

Graduating from the University of the Fraser Valley, Michelle has been a CDA at Dr. Chenail’s office since 2014. She first joined the practice during her practicum placement and has been part of the team ever since. She enjoys working alongside Dr. Chenail, who continually inspires her to keep practicing her French and to maintain a strong work ethic.

In her spare time, Michelle loves spending time in her garden and enjoying her new home with her husband.

Michelle grew up enjoying her dental visits thanks to friendly staff who made the experience positive. Michelle takes great pride in helping the office run smoothly and ensuring every patient feels comfortable and cared for during their visit.

Jasmine

Jasmine is a CDA and has had the pleasure of working with Dr Chenail for 2 years but has worked as a CDA since 2009. She received her certification from UFV and has worked primarily in Abbotsford and Chilliwack. Jasmine enjoys this field of work due to the interaction she is able to have with people; her wonderful co-workers and our lovely patients. Jasmine aims to create a friendly, comfortable and reassuring atmosphere in any appointment she participates in.

In her life outside of work, Jasmine is a wife and mother to 3. She enjoys time spent with people so she volunteers at her children’s school and at her church here in Chilliwack. Jasmine also enjoys time spent in the beauty of nature as well as introverted hobbies like reading, puzzles and scrapbooking.

Hannah

Hannah is a CDA in Dr. Chenail’s office. She graduated from the UFV Dental assistant program and has been working as a CDA ever since! She has worked in paediatrics as-well as orthodontics, after completing her orthodontic module at UBC in 2019. Hannah found herself back in general dentistry because she loves working with patients of all ages, assisting for multiple different dental procedures and getting to know the patients at our office which brings her so much joy!

In Hannah’s spare time, she spends it with her husband and three boys, whether it’s walking or biking around their neighborhood or camping in the summers! She loves making memories with her family!

Hannah grew up always looking forward to her next dental visit, and she hopes to help others enjoy their dental experiences also!

Colleen

Colleen has had the pleasure of working the front desk at Dr. Chenail’s office since 2020. She loves being the first and last face you see when you visit and takes pride in making every dental experience as smooth and welcoming as possible.

Outside the office, Colleen enjoys spending time with her new grandbaby, her husband, and their adult children. You can also often spot her out and about with her golden retriever, Houston (and yes—Houston, we do have a problem sometimes!). When she’s not with family or friends, Colleen enjoys playing the piano and baking.
